How often do you go through your kids toys and either throw a lot of them away…or give them away?

How do you get yourself to throw away your kids toys?
I go to throw them, recycle them whatever… and all I think about is the 30 to 50.. sometimes 80 bucks we spend on it. It sooo needs to be done. I am so weak when it comes to purging! I need reinforcement.
