I’m only throwing away broken ones, or ones missing major parts. The others are going to cousins or Goodwill.
St. Jimmy, where did you decipher from what I’d written that I force my daughter to throw away her toys? We did it together, and I was actually surprised at how much she was willing to relinquish.
I don’t know who thumbs downed the answers. Most are reasonable, I agree.

my sons bed is actually in our room because he tends to get up in the middle of the night and jump in bed with us. he’s only 2 1/2 so it doesn’t bother me that he sleeps in our room…yet.

They have big bulky toys and they have small toys and a bunch of toys in between. I plan to do a garage sale to get rid of some. I admit we did by them a back yard swimming pool today. They have a computer in their room, and a portable dvd player. My kids get new toys on a regular basis and then our neighbors old toys.

There is also a 1 1/2 year old. Preferably something that can be played with outside and at least 4 or 5 kids can play with at a time or take turns playing. Something the 1 1/2 year old would enjoy too if you can possibly think of anything to fit with that age. We are already buying a slipping slide and sand toys. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
